Nokia survey about mobile games

Following the results of a research made by Nokia recently, mobile phone games are now an important aspect that customers are looking when they buy a new phone. More and more customers play games at their mobile phone, for an average time of 28 minutes.

The vast majority of mobile gamers play at least once a week, and 35% of them usually play every day. They prefer to try a game before buying it, and most of them prefer to play during idle time (56%) or while waiting.

63% of the respondents preferred the mobile games powered by Nokia, which offers Java 2D and Java 3D games. 82% of customers find a good gameplay as most important feature before deciding to buy a game, and 45% of them like to play multi-player games on their mobile phones at least once a month.

"These research results shows that our customers are looking to the next generation of mobile gaming to meet their gaming needs", says Jaakko Kaidesoja from Nokia. "Next year we intend to deliver superior mobile gaming experiences to our customers". (N.W).
