Announcement from Gaming VC

In a statement published this morning, the online casino operator Gaming VC announced that Steve Barlow was resiged of chief executive with immediate effect. Barlow will remain with the company as a non executive director.

The company denied there is any link between the resignation of Barlow and the recent online financial gambling ban in the United States, signed on October 13, 2006 by President George W. Bush.

A spokesperson said the law "did not spur the board change". Barlow was the major shareholder of Gaming VC.

The statement came after the company announced it was subject to a suit filed by Fort Knox Consulting. Fort Knox have a dispute against Gaming VC regarding a failed acknowledgement between the two companies, that damaged the Fort Knox group.
