NETeller and online financial US ban

The current confusion about the financial online gambling ban and the online gaming legislation, brings however calming news for all US players. NETeller commented the intentions of the Congress about blocking online gambling transactions:

"It is currently unclear how NETeller, an European company, with no assets, presence or employees in the US, would be affected by this bill. Once the regulations have been written, NETeller will have a clearer view of which companies are affected, how those companies will be expected to comply, and any possible resulting impact on NETeller and its US facing business."

After the bill will be signed into law, a period of up to 9 months is allowed for the US banking companies to prescribe regulations for the new anti online gambling funding bill. NETeller also declared that the company is authorised in the UK and listed on the London Stock Exchange, and to protect its customers' money, all funds are held in Trust Accounts.
