Will Bush send the bill back today?
President Bush is expected to sign the anti-online gambling bill attachment today, 13 October. A protest against the new Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has produced new information that Bush could send the bill back requesting more clarity.
Lobbyist Debbie Richardson organised a protest in Washington this week, and she's planning to organize a bigger one for next November 3.
Richardson was apparently told that the President could decline to sign off the new law because there wasn't enough time to study the content of the bill. President Bush has the power to send the bill back to the Senate for a debate.
Law Expert, Professor Nelson Rose, said in his analysis that many aspects of the law do not make sense, and it is necessary a further analysis.
Today we'll know the President's decision.
