Playtech First Quarter Trading update

Playtech, the popular developer and software provider for the online and land-based gaming industry, announced in a company press release their results for the first quarter of 2007.

Total revenues were $19.8 million and rose about 14% compared to the last quarter of 2006, and increased by 62% compared to the last year's first quarter revenues. Their online poker room Titan Poker had been translated into different international languages and poker revenues increased by 257% compared to the first quarter of 2006, thanks also to the migration of the Tribeca licensees onto the iPoker network during march 2007.

Casino and Poker revenues for the quarter included the poker activity (rake) and casino games activity, and also the migrated licenses.

"The European segment has grown significantly over the past year and is expected to continue to show further growth", announced Playtech. The company has concluded a very positive first quarter of the year and this trend is also continuing into the second quarter.
