Playtech expand their poker network

One of the most famous online software provider, Playtech, announced they have purchased at the price of $135 million part of Tribeca Software, to expand their online poker network. Tribeca poker platform is very large and includes poker rooms like VCPoker, Paddy Power and Expekt.

This deal is probably started after the new internet gambling law signed in USA on last October 13, and the Playtech's strategy to expand outside the United States.

"This is an excellent deal for Playtech, which transforms the company into the world's leading poker network that excludes U.S. players", says Playtech CEO Avigur Zmora, that also announced incomes from non U.S. players increased to 53% in 2006.
