Robbers busted into a poker tournament

New York Post reported that a group of four masked gunmen busted on last November 19,2006 into a poker game in Nassau County and robbed 80 players of $50,000. Just after midnight the robbers interrupted a game of Texas Hold Em and shouted: "Sit down and put your money on the table!".

The group of amateur poker players included also a small child assisting the game. "Nobody wanted to get shot, so nobody wanted to move even if there were doors everywhere", said one person in the hall. A woman playing at the table, said the losses could be about $50,000.

The robbers parked a van around the corner on McKinley Avenue before entering to the building from the rear, and the witness said he saw at least four masked men.(EC/JF-NYP).
